Who’s behind this
Founder & CEO
Strategy. Venture building. AI before it was called AI.
At Mach49, Monifa co-built the venture-building methodology used with Schneider Electric, Shell, Hines, and dozens of other Global 1000 companies. She also led A3 Ventures, developing and deploying growth strategy for venture-backed companies. Translating new technology into new business has been the through-line of her career.
She holds an NLP patent from 2012 — doing AI product work before it was called AI. Not a pivot. An arrival.
“We know what it takes because we’re doing it — not theorizing about it.”
Chief Operating Officer
Product. Builder. Fifteen years of shipping.
Fifteen-plus years shipping products at Opower, Capital One Labs, Granular/Corteva, and Mach49. Things that went to production and stayed there.
At Capital One Labs, he was creating net-new products and services inside a major financial institution — not a startup, an organization that doesn’t exist to take risks. That’s the experience that matters when helping clients do the same.
“Most of what I write about, I shipped that week. That’s the difference between a point of view and a take.”
Parable Labs
In 1993, Octavia Butler wrote a novel set in 2024. She got the feeling right: everything accelerating in directions no one had planned for. The protagonist doesn’t wait for it to slow down. She gathers seeds and people and starts moving.
That book named this firm. Butler’s gift wasn’t prediction — it was perception. Seeing what was already happening clearly enough to understand where it leads. That’s the work that matters most right now.
A seed without the right soil doesn’t grow. AI capability without the conditions to compound it stays a tool. Our job is to help leaders create those conditions — and build the growth engine. The rest compounds.
“All that you touch you Change. All that you Change changes you. The only lasting truth is Change.”
— Octavia Butler, Parable of the Sower
